Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts like in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. IT is having its headquarters located in New Delhi. It has seven Regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore at present. Also, it has 2 Sub- Regional offices at Raipur and Chandigarh each of them is headed by a Regional Director and each Sub-Regional office is headed by a Deputy Director.

Every year, lots of candidates apply for the CGL exam for the recruitment of Grade “B” and “C” categories posts in various Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices. #2. SSC CGL Full Form 2018: Eligibility Criteria

  • Age of candidate should be 20 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provided to reserved category as per the Government rule.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit:

SSC had made changes in the minimum and maximum age limit from the past years. SSC has notified that upper age limit will be 30 years and minimum age limit is 20 years.

  • Old age limit 18-27 years
  • New age limit 20-30 years

Nationality:

Candidates who are interested to appear in SSC exam must have their nationality as Indian. This is the most basic requirement for all the government jobs in India.

#4. SSC CGL Full Form 2018: Application Fee

  • Candidates can submit fee thru SBI challan/net banking and debit/credit card.
  • Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 100.
  • Female, SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates no need to pay any application fee.

Payment of SSC CGL 2018 Application Fee:

Candidates can pay the application fee online though SBI net banking or cash through SBI bank challan.
